Mercedes-Benz unveils new A Class in India, its 15th car in 2015

Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the all new A Class to enhance its product offering in the Indian luxury car market and to appeal to young buyers.

This is as per the company’s ‘15 in 15’ strategy where in it has introduced 15 new cars in 2015 to regain its number one position in the market. During this year the company has opened 14 dealerships and one more, the 15th one, will be opened by the end of December. The new A Class is has been offered in both petrol and diesel variants in five colors.

The A Class 180 Sport petrol is priced at Rs 24.95 lakh and the A Class 200 d Sport diesel at Rs 25.95 lakh (Ex-showroom Mumbai).

“We could not have concluded the product offensive of 2015 with a better product. As the most progressive model in the compact luxury segment, the A Class has been instrumental in making Mercedes-Benz brand more youthful. We are confident that the new A Class will continue to remain on top of customers’ preference,” said Roland Folgar, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India while unveiling the upgraded A Class which was first introduced in India in 2013.
